Having trained and qualified with Wilson Braithwaite Scholey, Graeme joined Volans Leach & Schofield in 1988 where he worked alongside his good friend Chris Smart and for a brief few months, crossed paths with Martin Knaggs as he was starting out as a trainee.

In October 1995, Graeme joined G L Barker & Co LLP where he has served as a partner and provided invaluable support to clients for almost 30 years.

Outside work, Graeme’s love of Yorkshire County Cricket Club has led him to serving as Chairman of the Members Representative Group for the last six years. He is also a long standing member and supporter of Leeds Modernians Rugby Club where he not only passes on his wisdom of the game to the younger generations, but enjoys catching up with his friends (and the odd client) over a pint.

After a long career at the accountancy crease, Graeme is not yet ready to hang up his boots and pads, and will now share his extensive client knowledge with both Martin and Sarah as they look to take G L Barker & Co LLP on to the next chapter.
